Mobility is my latest passion. The notion of having agents roaming across hosts that may move through space is just too exciting an idea to ignore. With the entry into middleware for mobility, systems research complements formal modeling work. Formal design methods and software visualization techniques have been two dominant research themes throughout my academic career. I find beauty in mathematical elegance and power in the knowledge that the industrial techniques I promote have a solid technical foundation. I find excitement in aesthetically pleasing images that are able to communicate sophisticated abstract concepts.
